Dayworks are used where work cannot be measured and valued in the normal way. The sheet records labour, plant and materials used each day, and needs signing promptly so it can be valued later.
Who it is for
It is written for subcontractors and specialist trades who need to apply for payment on time, record changes as they happen and protect their payment rights under the Construction Act, whatever form of subcontract they have signed.
How to use it
Fill in a daywork sheet for each day or task with labour hours, plant and materials, then get it signed. The Excel register logs every sheet, its status and value, so you can see which sheets are signed, valued and included in an application.
