Toolbox talks are short briefings on a single health and safety topic, given on site. A signed record shows who attended.
Who it is for
It is written for small builders, contractors and subcontractors who need practical health and safety paperwork for site. It is a starting point to adapt to your own work and risks, not a substitute for a competent person's assessment.
How to use it
Choose a talk, read it through with the team and get everyone to sign the sheet. The ten topics are work at height, manual handling, dust, asbestos, noise and vibration, housekeeping, fire, electrical safety, COSHH and reporting.
